For students and young professionals interested in working in international development, “Careers in Global Development” collects insights from senior-level U.S. government, multilateral, and NGO officials who have worked in the field for over twenty years.
Each session provides access to a short podcast and a one-hour discussion with practitioners about current issues in development, their career experiences, and questions from the moderator and participants. Topics range from Africa to the Middle East, conflict to democracy and governance. Supporting materials explore the role of humanitarian assistance and development in U.S. foreign policy.
“Careers in Development” is hosted by the CSIS Project on U.S. Leadership in Development. For more information, please visit http://csis.org/program/project-us-leadership-development or http://csis.org/program/careers-development .
