A Trip Around the World! This course is "a trip around the world" exploring the seven continents and surrounding bodies of water through the Five Themes of Geography, which are as follows:
1. Location-- Where is it using absolute or relative location? 2. Place- an area that is defined by everything in it. All places have features that give them personality and distinguish them from other places. 3. Movement- the way people, products, information and ideas move from one place to another 4. Human-Environment Interaction-- the relationships between people and their environment; how people adapt to the environment and how they change it 5. Region- an area that is defined by certain similar characteristics. Those unifying or similar characteristics can be physical, natural, human, or cultural.
