Brandt Ward, Unknown, Barry Naidoo
A series of video instructions and PDF documents focussing on engineering beams, frames and structures. The course looks into the reactions at the supports when vertical and inclined forces are applied to beams and frames. Using the 'Method of Joints' the course takes a sequential approach in mathematically determining the internal reactions of structural members, interpreting and applying derived data. Associated engineering problems and worked solutions are included to enhance consolidation of learned concepts. This course is designed as a means of self-paced consolidation and revision of learned concepts. Feedback via email is welcomed.
